I met Vivian the day before she turned 2 weeks old. The first two weeks are the perfect window for a newborn session, because baby is still on the sleepy side – which generally makes for a more pleasant outfit-changing experience – but they’re also starting to get used to light, so we get to have some open-eyes photos too 🙂

The first baby in this family was Emi, a ridiculously cute French bulldog who was as relaxed as a pup can get during the session, a quietly protective presence over her new sister.
