Family Portraits Around Carroll Gardens

I first met the B family in 2017 for newborn portraits when their second daughter Chloe was born, and just about a year later they wanted to have one more session in NYC before moving away. To commemorate their time in Brooklyn, they opted to shoot around adorable Carroll Gardens.

Shuffling toddlers around and keeping them happy for photos can be tricky, but these two were so engaging and just a delight to work with! In the middle of the shoot, they stopped at a neighborhood favorite, Milk Bar. (That location has since closed, but there are a few others still open!) Everyone got a well-earned summer treat, and I got to take some cool photos through a window, with Brooklyn streets reflected on the other side. Win-win!
