Aaron’s mom was one of my very best friends in high school – his dad went to high school with us too! – so photographing this little family was a highlight of my year. Often when I meet a newborn for a shoot, I can see right away how they might be the perfect blend of their parents’ looks. Aaron is indeed that perfect blend, and in his case I also got to appreciate how much he is the perfect blend of his parents’ personalities!

At the very end of the shoot, we went for a quick visit to the park down the street to soak up some golden hour light, the very best.
