Vacation Portraits at the Oculus

I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible families; the ones I get to know well, through yearly portraits, hold a very special place in my heart. This was my sixth session with this family, and we always have a blast working together. Their little boy OJ is chock full of personality!

On a cool November morning, we strolled around the Oculus. Working with newborns and small kids, I spend much of my shooting time inside homes or at parks. So it’s a LOT of fun for me to once in awhile work near “touristy” landmarks like Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station, etc. They’re popular for a reason, NYC is a seriously photogenic place! On the day of this shoot, it was chilly enough outside that the area was not at all crowded, a perk of bundling up for your shoot 🙂
