Julian’s Baptism | NYC Family Photographer

Julian’s mom had me over for a family portrait session one afternoon, and then the very next day for his christening too!

When I asked how many would be at the shoot, she answered 9 – 4 grandparents + 2 parents + Julian + his 2 amazing French bulldog brothers 🙂 The family’s apartment and patio made a perfect sunny backdrop.

The next morning I met them at the Church of St. Francis Xavier, one of the most spectacular churches I’ve ever been inside. After the ceremony we headed to Battery Gardens for the reception, where there was a design-your-own omelet station and a massive candy table! To everyone’s surprise, in addition to the cake for Julian, there were 3 more cakes celebrating his paternal grandfather and both grandmothers’ birthdays as well!
