Christian’s Baptism | NYC Family Photographer

I met Christian on the day of his baptism. He wasn’t sure how he felt about the suit at first, but he came around…how cute are those little toothy grins?! Shooting in churches is always an interesting challenge, because generally they’re pretty dark spaces. Most have strict rules against flash photography, but even in those that don’t it just doesn’t feel right to have a flash firing every few seconds, particularly at a religious ceremony. I always finish a job in a church with a renewed appreciation for my camera’s low light capabilities. Thanks, Nikon!
