Natalia and David flew from Spain to NYC to get married, and boy were their arms tired! (I’m so sorry.) Natalia speaks a little English, but there was a bit of a language barrier since my Spanish is rusty – i.e. I haven’t tried it since high school, and these days I can only summon “Where is the bathroom?” which isn’t terribly helpful when suggesting poses. Luckily one of my favorite assistants is a native Spanish speaker, and he was kind enough to translate back and forth for all of us.
¡Gracias, Felix!
The two were married on a brisk spring day under a very familiar gazebo in Central Park, when winter was still holding on as tight as it could. Natalia braved the cold for a few photos in her dress, and thankfully the jacket she had on was beautiful and picture perfect in itself. The jacket combined with her new husband’s arms wrapped tightly around her meant she was well-covered!
